Reader's Comments
Hi, about your book, I finished reading it two weeks ago, and I
still can't stop thinking about it.
I don't have a partner right now and read 'What is love?' from that perspective.
I learned so much from it! I read it at night, in bed, and seriously,
there were times when I couldn't wait to go to bed, because I wanted to learn
more. It taught me a lot (!!!) about myself that I didn't know yet and it
gave me an insight in what went wrong in former relationships too. I
mean it when I say that I think everyone should read your book. I once read
'The Power of Now' and I think it is as life changing for myself & others to
read that book, as it is to read yours. Thank you so much!
What I liked most, were the parts in which you gave examples of your
own life & relationships. That's something that makes it easy to relate to
and gave me the idea that I'm not the only one making 'mistakes' in love.
Thank you again, I think it was meant to be to meet you and get a copy
of this book.

In his book ‘What is Love?, Frank Vilaasa shows us how to align brain, heart and soul to achieve higher levels of love. The book gives clear, constructive checklists for how to recognise our illusions about love, and how to break free from stuck patterns.
Written for health professionals and for lay people, the advice on how to grow into a more loving person by practicing awareness, acceptance and affirmation will be easy for anyone to follow.
The book ‘What Is Love?’ is an amazing work, inspired by someone who is obviously dedicated to the higher principles of love is his life and work. Frank Vilaasa shows us how to reach inner freedom by keeping body, mind and soul full of inspirational love. It has inspired me in my work and my life.

I have been reading lots of books about the topics you are covering in "What is love?".
Your book is definetely one of the best structured, most comprehensive and less biased of all of them.
On top, it is short, comes to the point and is written in an easy-to-understand manner.
I am very happy that I recently found it on Kho Samui. It has already helped me in my thinking, living and
healing myself.
I am very much looking forward to the second book.
I wish you all the best, you have helped me a lot.

“I read your book last week after going through a break up with someone I really cared for. He said he needed time to himself, to sort himself out. I could not understand why. I felt it was an excuse, but I also knew part of the reason lay with me.
Your book rocked me to the core. I realised how little of love I knew. I could've been your case study. I exhibited all the irrational behaviours and thought patterns you outlined in many chapters.
I was not supportive and understanding, always demanding that he made time for me and asking, subconsciously, for his love and attention, and placing my own expectations on him, and projecting into the future a young 5-month-old relationship.
I realised, after 13 years of failed relationships that I had come no closer to knowing how to handle my feelings and my partners. Every relationship that failed, I pinned the blame on the other person.
Looking inward is difficult when you do not have guidance.
Thank you again for writing such a wonderful book. I am thankful that I have come closer to knowing my weaknesses. It is a good step forward. I just wish I had read your book earlier.
I am certain your book will touch many souls, and help many on their paths to discovering more about themselves and improving their relationships, all over the world. I will highly recommend it to anyone I feel needs some direction.
Thank you.

Thank you for writing the book. I was in June’s café in Koh Samui... and when I walked in, the book was calling for me - two times!
So I picked it up... Your book came to me by no coincidence - I was asking my Guru/Universe for help on life in general, and partnerships in particular.
Thanks to your book, I am taking the courage not to go back to full time work. I don’t want to spend more time in the corporate world and have my energy stuck there! I am a practicing Tibetan Buddhist, and have always struggled with the right thing imposed by society/tradition and the thing my heart wanted. We are all guilty about it - not being true to ourselves! That day, after reading the last 2 chapters for the second time, I married myself---- ha! yes-- I made a commitment to myself that I will always remain true to the truth in my heart. That I shall at least listen to it and what it has always wanted to tell me. It was a really sacred moment for me, because touching the Core, or Self, is no different from touching the Buddha Nature within.
I just want to share this with you because this is what reading your book has done for me. For if we are not able to first truly love ourselves, how can we love another or another love us?
So thank you, ‘What is Love’ certainly touched me in one of the most fundamental ways. It is my prayer that you can complete the second book WHO AM I, and please let me know when it is out.
The book is so good, I want to share it with my friends, so I am ordering more copies

I want to thank you so much for your book - it really is great and it’s like a bible to me at the moment. I come from a Buddhist perspective, and the book seems to bring together so much of my thinking over the years (and challenges too). I still have a way to go regarding putting the concepts into practice, but as you say it takes time. Meanwhile, I try to let go and trust the Universe, and settle into my heart space.

I am writing this to say that I have read the book, "What is Love?" and it has already started to make a difference to the way I view love, relationships and life itself.
I was just in a relationship and could relate to portions of the book, and can understand why we were not meant for each other.
I am going to read the book again (and again lol) to get more out of it, as it cannot possibly be grasped all in one read. It has made me look at myself and reflect on past relationships and understand were things went wrong.
I am going to put the ideas and suggestions into practice for myself and see where it takes me. I look forward to living in the NOW, and that the future will take care of itself.
I have to say that I know how to live the "one day at a time" way, as I am clean and sober since the 28-1-1994.
I look forward in anticipation to the next book "Who am I?"
Kindest regards,

An amazing book on a subject that everyone struggles with from time to time in life....WHAT IS LOVE?
If you have ever asked yourself this question or had challenges in understanding the journey into love..this book is for you! The author lovingly guides you through the first four chakras and relates them back to this fundamental question of love. He does this in a very direct and easy to understand manner that will have you looking within for your own answers rather than having him fill in the blank for you.
A second reading of the book will take you even deeper on your journey. Frank Vilaasa writes from the perspective that we all need to answer this question ourselves, and provides a framework to guide us into finding our own understanding. Especially of what gets in the way of the love that we already are. I think everyone can learn something from this exceptional work and I recommend it most highly!!
This book is an excellent trailblazer helping us slowly navigate back home to our true inner nature of LOVE. Share it with all whom you meet and your world will be transformed!
